Adopt-a-Beach Program

“Adopt-a-Beach, arranged by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and Korea Marine Environment Management Corporation, is a civilian-led beach management program. Individuals, private corporations, groups and organizations adopt a specific beach to care for and nurture it as one would do for their companion animals. KCH group actively participates in protecting the marine environment by planning and creating related contents (such as campaigns) and conducting beach cleaning activities at least three times a year.

Orphanage Volunteer Activities

“Giving opportunities they deserve to all children in this world”. We do employee-participatory volunteer activities in collaboration with the Dongmyeong Child Welfare Center. At the forefront, we continuously take part in educating the underprivileged children. We help them nurture creativity and build character, and we always root for their healthy childhood and realizing their dreams.

Replacement of Aging Electrical Facilities

Utilizing KCH's expertise and technology to support local communities, we inspect and replace electrical facilities in homes of the socially vulnerable. This is carried out consistently every 2-3 months across different villages, earning trust and support from the local communities.

Resident-Participatory Business

KCH operates a community co-prosperity business based on grand consensus between residents and institutions for community development. A system where each resident investing 10,000 won receives solar energy profits worth 200,000 won every quarter for 20 years, aiding in solving fundamental issues such as population decline in the community.

Groundwater Development Program

In Sinan Anjwa, a reclaimed island area where KCH operates, residents struggle with water shortages. Residents often need to fetch water from the mainland during droughts. KCH installed communal wells at three locations in Anjwa, supplying an average of 130 tons of water daily to local residents, contributing to the stability of their daily livelihood.

Sponsor for Seoul National University Hospital Development Association

In 2020, KCH donated 100 million KRW to the association, supporting the community’s health promotion, medical service enhancement, and medical research.

Scholarships

Under the supervision of the Scholarship Operation Committee, KCH grants 2.3 million KRW monthly to each ten students from Anjwa High School, totaling about 30 KRW annually for 20 years. Beyond financial support, the program includes volunteer activities, a drone club, and other student engagement programs to foster young professional talent.
